TRANG CHỦ Sản phẩm Parr Stirred Reactor Series

For users with multiple feed, vent and instrumentation needs, we offer a Fixed Head Design. The movable vessel is offered to users who wish to charge or recover reactants and products away from the operating area. We offer quick-opening, o-ring sealed vessels for users looking for convenience at moderate operating temperatures and PTFE or Graphoil gaskets for users requiring higher operating temperatures.

Magnetically coupled stirrer drives are offered in high and low speed designs in four operating torque ranges. Heaters range from electric to circulatory jackets. Temperature controllers are available to fully integrate the process controller or as simple controls. Available accessories include internal cooling coils, bottom drain valves, condensers, custom stirrers, explosion proof components, liquid gas filling and monitoring systems and many more.

There are many other options and accessories to turn a stirred reactor into a pressure reaction system. Although we offer many choices it is the user who must decide which choices are suitable for their application.

Applications

These reactors are used in many branches of chemical technology. Catalytic Hydrogenation with its associated catalyst development and testing is certainly one of the principal applications of these reactors with their excellent three phase mixing designs. Polymer development is another major area of application. Additionally, the vessels have been used extensively in hydrometallurgical applications.

Selection Procedure for Parr Stirred Reactors

Parr has continued to expand its line of stirred reactors to give the user many new and additional choices when selecting a reactor for a specific set of operating conditions. New models have been added and the number of available options has been greatly expanded. But the selection process remains the same. It should start with the establishment of the Four Basic Specifications discussed below. Having set these requirements, the user can then identify a suitable Series group from the Stirred Reactors Selection Guide. A list of Standard Reactor Fittings is provided to confirm the basic capabilities included with each reactor. Finally, the Principal Options should be considered to establish the detailed specifications for specifying the reactor using the catalog number and ordering guide.

Stirred Guide

The selection process for stirred reactors should start with the establishment of the Four Basic Specifications discussed in our Selection Procedure. Having set these requirements, the user can then identify a suitable Series group from the Stirred Reactors Selection Guide. Detailed specifications and catalog numbers can then be found on the linked page. After the specifications have been established, the options and accessories required to customize a complete stirred reactor system can be selected.

These are the largest of the Parr Reactors that can be handled on a bench top. These reactors are available with an FKM O-ring seal for operating temperatures to 225 °C, and FFKM O-ring for temperatures to 300 °C, or with a flat, PTFE gasket for operating temperatures up to 350 °C maximum.

Series 4530 1-2L Floor Stand Reactors can be moved, modified to fit your needs, and configured for polymer studies. They are also available in high pressure versions.

> Chi tiết

This series of stirred reactors has been designed for users who need higher operating pressures than the 2000 to 3000 psi offered by the General Purpose Reactors, but do not require the high operating temperatures provided by the Series 4570 High Pressure, High Temperature Reactors. These reactors offer working pressures to 5000 psi (345 bar) at temperatures to 350 °C.

These 4550 Reactors extend the size range of the 4530 Series to 1 and 2 gallon (3.75 and 7.99 liter) sizes, providing excellent facilities for pilot plant studies.

The Model 4555 and 4557 Reactors with their 5 gallon (18.75 L) capacity are the largest stirred reactors offered by Parr. The 4556 and 4558 Models are similar units with a 10 liter (2.6 gal) volume which falls between the larger 5 gallon design and the smaller 1 and 2 gallon models in the 4550 Series.

> Chi tiết

These are the most popular of all Parr Stirred Reactors. Although they are called “Mini” reactors, they offer a range of sizes large enough to work with significant sample sizes, yet small enough to be handled with ease by all operators.

> Chi tiết

Parr offers a number of different reactors in the 4570 and 4580 Series in a variety of sizes and with different mountings for operating pressures to 5000 psi (345 bar) and temperatures to 500 °C.

> Chi tiết

These are the smallest of all Parr Stirred Reactors. They will be a good choice for chemists working with very expensive materials or materials only available in small amounts. They will also appeal to users who wish to minimize the risks associated with hazardous materials or reactions by restricting the reactants or products to a minimum.
